Practice Philosophy
We want to provide our patients with the best care possible. Not only medical care, but care that encompasses every aspect of our presence during a housecall visit. We want comfortable examinations, therapies, treatments- all aspects of this practice are free from trauma for both the patient and the family. A large part of this is taking time to receive non-verbal communication, evaluate the environment, and being able to read the body language of both the patient and the client. We adapt our presence to what each patient, client, and situation requires to provide a different kind of care. All-encompassing, loving, smart medicine at the pace required to create stability in the relationship. Owners are the worlds leading experts on their pets. Our job is to provide them with information, education, treatment options, and an open heart. In turn we ask the owners consider my medical opinion and let us know what will work best for their pet and their family. We also believe in complete transparency and total honesty. Clients are encouraged to be a part of every aspect of care. There is no taking a patient to the back behind closed doors for any reason unless an owner does not wish to be present.

Dr. Sara Fletcher
I am a Greensboro native with my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from NC State University. I spent 10 years as an emergency vet, followed by 5 years of providing end of life care exclusively. Caring for my greyhound Sophie through her senior years is what sparked my passion for geriatric and end of life care. Sophie was my first of 4 greyhounds that I have cared for and I have a special place in my heart for them.

NOW RETIRED... Brittany Dalton Crump, RVT (we miss you!)
I graduated from Gaston College with my degree in Veterinary Medical Technology in 2014. I was born and raised in Charlotte where I have worked in general practice, rehab focused, as well as integrative veterinary practices. This experience has given me a wide understanding of all the different ways we can help your pet, especially with arthritis as they grow older. I enjoy collaborating with Dr. Sara on the best treatments for each of our patients, and seeing older dogs with arthritis walking better because of our help is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. My collie mix Kyla has also given me a soft spot for anxious dogs, and seeing them slowly open up is one of the greatest experiences a pet lover can have. I moved to Greensboro in 2020 and have two dogs, Kyla, my collie mutt, and Marz my yellow lab.
TRACEY MORRISON GARDENER
Tracy is the voice you hear on the phone, and the person who gets everything sorted for you and doesn't let it through the cracks. What has however, slipped through the cracks for over two years now is her personal biography and a photograph. But I'm going to sneak it in here at some point.
